Please read these Rules carefully. By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or submitting your entry, you are indicating that you have read, understood and fully agree to these Rules.  

 

Official Contest Rules

These official contest rules (the “Contest Rules”) are provided by GoFast Nation Inc., a company registered under the laws of Alberta (“GoFast Nation”). The Official Contest Rules apply to the [2023 Polaris Matryxs 900 Boost Sweepstakes] contest (the “Contest”) administered by GoFast Nation through the website [gofastnation.com] (the “Website”). By entering into the Contest you agree to be legally bound by these Official Contest Rules, as well as GoFast Nation’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST. The Contest is open only to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) and is governed by Canadian law. Must be age of majority to enter.

Official rules

  1. Eligibility

    1. To be eligible to enter the Contest and to be eligible to win the Prize, you at the time of entry into the Contest and for the duration of the Contest, must:

      1. Be a permanent, legal resident of Canada (with the exception of Quebec);

      2. be the greater of (i) eighteen (18) years old or (ii) the age of majority in your jurisdiction; 

    2. Employees, consultants, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household of such persons, including common law spouses) of GoFast Nation, and each of its affiliated companies or agents, are not eligible to enter the Contest.

  2. Contest Details and How to Enter 

    1. The Contest runs from 12:01 a.m. MDT on [September 1st, 2026] to 11:59 p.m. MDT on [December 26, 2026] (the “Contest Period”). 

    2. You may enter the Contest through either of the below methods:

      1. Purchasing eligible products as indicated on the GoFast Nation website gofastnation.com (the “Website”) during the Contest Period. For each dollar spent on the purchase of any eligible products (rounded up) you will receive one (1) contest entry; (e.g., a $14 purchase (before sales tax) will earn 14 entries).

      2. mailing a card containing your contact information, your contest eligibility information, and your consent to these Contest Rules to [PO Box 2183, Stony Plain Alberta T7Z 1X7]. To be eligible, a card must be postmarked during the Contest Period and received by GoFast Nation no later than [December 20th, 2026]. Each card must be handwritten, mailed in a separate envelope with sufficient postage prepaid, and will receive one hundred (100) contest entries. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, or late entries are void. All entries become the property of GoFast Nation and will not be returned.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST 

  1. GoFast Nation reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Contest in the event it appears that such entrant is or has previously engaged in any conduct that is deemed by GoFast Nation in its reasonable discretion as inappropriate, derogatory, offensive or abusive.

  2. There is no limit on the number of entries you may obtain during the Contest Period, provided that each entry is obtained in accordance with these Contest Rules. GoFast Nation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any or all entries of, and to disqualify, any entrant who: (a) tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the Website, or the operation of the Contest; (b) uses any robot, script, macro, bot, or other automated or programmed means to enter; (c) enters or attempts to enter using multiple identities, names, email addresses, accounts, or mailing addresses; or (d) otherwise acts in violation of these Contest Rules or in a manner intended to gain an unfair advantage.

  3. By entering the Contest, you agree that GoFast Nation is not responsible for: (a) lost, undeliverable, rejected, illegible, corrupted, misappropriated, or misdirected Contest entries; (b) telecommunication or electrical malfunctions, unavailability, degradation, failures, or errors; (c) incorrectly collected information; or (d) human interference.

  1. Selection of Winners

    1. On or about [January 6th, 2027] (the “Draw Date”),Odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. A potential winner will be selected at random from all the eligible entries (a “Selected Entrant”).

    2. A Selected Entrant must promptly and in any event within seventy-two (72) hours of being contacted;

      1. provide GoFast Nation with confirmation they meet the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules, including through providing copies of any identification documents reasonably requested by GoFast Nation;

      2. provide GoFast Nation with any information necessary for GoFast Nation to communicate with the Selected Entrant or deliver the Prize to the Selected Entrant, including the Selected Entrant’s email and phone number, full legal name and residential address;

      3. sign and return to GoFast Nation a Declaration, Liability, and Publicity Release Form in a form determined by GoFast Nation (the “Release Form”) which shall, among other matters, confirm compliance with the Official Contest Rules, release GoFast Nation from all liability relating to the Contest and the Prize, and provide consent to the use of the Selected Entrant’s image and information in respect to publicity relating to the Contest without additional compensation; and

      4. correctly and without outside assistance answer a mathematical skill testing question posed by GoFast Nation.

All personal and other information requested by and supplied to GoFast Nation for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, including the information referenced above, must be complete, accurate and in no way misleading.

  1. The Selected Entrant agrees to cooperate in any investigations by GoFast Nation to confirm their eligibility and to help ensure that the use of such Selected Entrant’s information in advertising or publicity for the Contest will not bring GoFast Nation into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Contest or GoFast Nation as determined by GoFast Nation in its sole discretion. GoFast Nation may deem the selected entrant disqualified if GoFast Nation is dissatisfied, in the sole discretion of GoFast Nation, with the results of the investigation.

  2. In the event that the Selected Entrant does not comply with the terms of this Agreement, including sections 3.2 and 3.3 above, within the timelines set out above, GoFast Nation may disqualify them and another eligible entrant will be randomly chosen as a Selected Entrant from the remaining eligible entries and the process above will be repeated until such time as a Selected Entrant who complies with the requirements above is found, who shall be entitled to claim the Prize (a “Winner”).

  1. Prize

    1. The Winner will be entitled to receive a [2023 Polaris Matryxs 900 Boost Snowmobile] (the “Prize”). The approximate retail value of the Prize is [$15,000]. There is one (1) Prize available to be won. The Prize will be awarded to one (1) Winner selected from among all eligible entries received from across Canada (excluding Quebec); no portion of the Prize is allocated to any particular province, territory, or region.

    2. Your chance to win the Prize depends on the number of entries to the Contest received in accordance with these Contest Rules. 

    3. The Prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution and is not transferable or for resale and has no cash surrender value. GoFast Nation will not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever should a Winner (a) not be satisfied in any way with the Prize; or (b) be incapable of accessing the Prize. GoFast Nation reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and for any reason whatsoever, to substitute the Prize for one of approximately equal or greater value, or a cash payment equal to $15,000  without liability.

    4. The Prize is awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, durability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Winner is solely responsible for the payment of all federal, provincial, and other taxes arising in connection with the Prize, and for any and all other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance, possession, use, or enjoyment of the Prize, including any travel, insurance, licensing, registration, delivery, installation, or maintenance costs not expressly stated to be included in the Prize. For greater certainty, it shall be the responsibility of the Winner to arrange for shipping of the Prize to a location of their choosing at their sole cost and risk and GoFast Nation shall not be responsible for the shipping of the Prize.

  2. Release & Indemnity

    1. BY ENTERING IN THE CONTEST, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE GOFAST NATION INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS AND ALL OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT, ORGANIZATION, AND/OR EXECUTION OF THE CONTEST (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASEES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL MANNER OF ACTION, CAUSES OF ACTION, SUITS, DEBTS, COVENANTS, CONTRACTS, LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS, INCLUDING LEGAL FEES AND EXPENSES, WHATSOEVER, (COLLECTIVELY, “CLAIMS”) INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CLAIMS BASED ON NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, AND FUNDAMENTAL BREACH, AND LIABILITY FOR PHYSICAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHICH YOU OR YOUR ADMINISTRATORS, HEIRS, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS MIGHT HAVE OR COULD HAVE, BY REASON OF OR ARISING OUT OF (A) YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR THE AWARDING, ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR ENJOYMENT OF ANY PRIZE, OR (B) THE PUBLICITY RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU, INCLUDING PURSUANT TO SECTION 5.3 BELOW. YOU SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THERE MAY BE SERIOUS RISKS OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OF THE PRIZE AND YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THESE RISKS. 

    2. By entering into the Contest you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, actions, judgments, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable legal fees and the cost of enforcing any right to indemnification hereunder and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers (collectively, “Losses”) arising out of or resulting from: (a) your participation in the Contest; (b) receipt, possession, loss, or use of the Prize; (c) the publicity rights granted to GoFast Nation by you; (d) any non-compliance by you with any of the Contest Rules or GoFast Nation Terms of Use; or (e) the use of your Contest entry by GoFast Nation.

    3. By entering in the Contest, if you are a Selected Entrant or Winner, you consent to the use of your legal name, city and province of residence, likeness, voice, comments, statements and photographs (collectively, “Personality”), without additional compensation or notice, in connection with any advertising, promotion, or publicity carried out now or in the future, in any media or on the Website, by or on behalf of GoFast Nation. 

  3. Privacy

    1. GoFast Nation respects each entrant’s right to privacy. By entering the Contest and voluntarily providing personal information, you consent and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information for the administration of the Contest in accordance with the applicable privacy policy of GoFast Nation available at [https://gofastnation.com/policies/privacy-policy]. Entering the Contest does not constitute consent to receive commercial electronic messages from GoFast Nation. GoFast Nation will send you commercial electronic messages unrelated to the administration of the Contest only where you have given your express consent to receive them, and you may withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in any such message or by contacting GoFast Nation at [email address].

  4. General

    1. By entering the Contest, you agree to: (a) read, abide and be bound by these Contest Rules, including all eligibility requirements and by the decisions of GoFast Nation, made in its sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest; and (b) waive any rights to claim ambiguity regarding these Contest Rules. Entrants who have not complied with the Contest Rules are subject to disqualification at any time in GoFast Nation’s discretion.

    2. If any virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or other cause beyond the reasonable control of GoFast Nation corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, GoFast Nation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest or these Contest Rules in whole or in part, and to void any affected entries. GoFast Nation may otherwise modify these Contest Rules on notice posted to the Website, provided that no such modification will reduce the value of the Prize or the rights of entrants in respect of entries already submitted. 

    3. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

    4. All issues and questions concerning this Contest, including the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants or GoFast Nation in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflicts of law principles. The parties irrevocably attorn to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta for the resolution of any dispute related to these Contest Rules. 

    5. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, or any other social media platform through which the Contest may be promoted (each, a “Platform”). Any information you provide in connection with the Contest is provided to GoFast Nation and not to any Platform. By entering the Contest, you release each Platform from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the Contest and agree that any question, comment, or complaint regarding the Contest must be directed to GoFast Nation and not to any Platform. 

    6. The approximate retail value of the Prize as stated by GoFast Nation in point of sale advertising, and other advertising, promotion materials, and/or in these Contest Rules is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, the passage of time between the date the approximate retail value is stated by GoFast Nation and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If, at the time a Prize is redeemed or awarded, the actual prevailing retail purchase price for the Prize is less than the approximate retail value stated by GoFast Nation in point of sale, television, print, or online advertising, promotion materials, on the Website, and/or in these Contest Rules, the Contest Winner will not be entitled to be compensated for the price difference.

    7. These Contest Rules, as well as the GoFast Nation Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and any material displayed on the GoFast Nation website relating to the Contest constitute the entire agreement between yourself and GoFast Nation with respect to the Contest. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials or content, including, material on the GoFast Nation website, the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules shall prevail.

    8. In these Contest Rules words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa, and words importing a gender shall include all genders. The headings in these Contest Rules are for convenience only and shall not affect the Contest Rules’ construction or interpretation.

    9. Article 5 of these Contest Rules and all other provisions of these Contest Rules which must survive termination of these Contest Rules to fulfill their purpose will survive termination of these Official Contest Rules.

    10. GoFast Nation’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Contest Rules will not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. No waiver of a breach of these Contest Rules will constitute a waiver of any other breach of these Contest Rules.

    11. You may not assign your rights under these Contest Rules, including any entry to the Contest, to any third party without the consent of GoFast Nation.
